Objectives
The Department of Control & Measurement Engineering aims to produce professionals and intellectuals who will develop practical and creative networks and intelligent mechatronical system, vital to the progress of the twenty-first century. Students are encouraged to research and analyze the latest theories and appropriate case studies in the inter-system networks, acquiring knowledge in machinery, electronics, measurement, production, information handling, designing and operating control devices, and so forth. Students, thus, will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills they need to carry out their independent work in the areas of developing new technologies and conducting research projects by the time they reach the industrial field.
Major Programs
Mechatronics: Single Major Designed to cater to the increasing demand for workforce in the industries, the courses offered in the program of mechatronics lead students to engage in various research projects in depth. Students enrolled in the program are required to study in depth various areas relating to information technology, intelligence upgrade, and precision vital to today’s industry.
